Sealing: Porcelain pool tiles are inherently non-porous and do not require sealing. However, grout joints in pool environments should be sealed with a pool-grade, waterproof epoxy grout or a penetrating grout sealer rated for continuous water immersion. Inspect and reseal grout joints annually, or as needed based on pool chemical usage.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner or a pool-safe tile cleaning solution. Avoid acidic or highly alkaline cleaners, which can degrade grout joints and any glazed or matte surface detail over time. For calcium and mineral deposits common in pool environments, use a cleaner specifically formulated for pool tile scale removal — never abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the textured surface.

Installation: Install using a pool-grade, white polymer-modified thinset mortar rated for wet and submerged applications. Back-butter each tile fully to eliminate voids, which can cause tile failure under water pressure. Use epoxy grout for all pool installations — it resists mold, chemicals, and water absorption far better than cement-based grout. Ensure a fully waterproofed substrate before setting tile, and allow full cure time before filling the pool.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
