Outdoor pools demand more from tile than any other setting: full sun, constant water, pool chemicals, and — in many climates — freeze-thaw cycles. These porcelain and glass tiles are fired or fused dense and non-porous, so they resist water absorption, fading, chemical wear, and frost damage, and never need sealing. UV-stable glazes hold their color under direct sun, and small-format mosaics flex around curved walls, steps, and spa edges, while deco accents create custom waterline borders.

Install note: Outdoor pool tile never needs sealing and stands up to water, chemicals, sun, and freeze-thaw — but always use the setting materials, adhesives, and methods rated for submerged and exterior pool applications, which differ from standard installation. Glass should be set with white thinset. Mosaics are sold by the sheet; order a sample to confirm color underwater and in sunlight, and our specialists can help plan quantities.
