Sealing: Myra Limestone is a porous natural stone and must be sealed with a penetrating, impregnating stone sealer prior to installation and again immediately after grouting. In pool and outdoor environments, reapply a high-quality outdoor-rated sealer every 1–2 years, or more frequently in climates with heavy sun exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, or heavy pool chemical use. Pale beige tones are particularly susceptible to staining from tanning oils, organic debris, and iron-rich water.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in water; never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products) or alkaline degreasers, as limestone is highly reactive to acids and will etch or pit. For outdoor pool areas, rinse regularly with fresh water to remove chlorine residue and debris. Avoid pressure washing at high settings, which can erode the tumbled surface texture over time.

Installation: Install with a polymer-modified, full-coverage thinset rated for exterior and wet applications; use a white or beige thinset to avoid color bleed-through on pale stone. Back-butter each coping piece fully given the large 12×24 format and 3cm thickness. Ensure proper slope away from the pool edge (minimum 1/8 inch per foot) for drainage. Use a sanded, outdoor-rated caulk or flexible joint sealant at the pool bond beam junction — never rigid grout — to accommodate thermal expansion and movement.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
