Myra Limestone
Myra Limestone is a fine-grained Turkish natural limestone quarried in the Antalya region, prized for its bone white to soft creamy tone and delicate shell fossil markings — subtle traces of ancient marine life embedded throughout the stone. Dense, homogeneous, and notably low in porosity for a limestone, Myra combines a clean, luminous appearance with the durability to perform indoors and out.
What makes Myra limestone unique
Myra limestone forms from ancient marine sediment compressed over millions of years on the Mediterranean sea floor — the fine shell and fossil inclusions visible in the stone are genuine biological records of that origin. Compared to other limestones, Myra is unusually dense and uniform, which makes it easier to specify across large areas and better suited to freeze-thaw exposure outdoors. Up close, the fossil detail gives the stone quiet character; at installation distance it reads as a clean, consistent white-to-cream neutral that brightens any space.
Available Myra varieties:
Myra White
The whitest Myra selection — bone white background with fine brown shell markings. Also traded as White Pearl.
Myra (Classic)
Standard Myra — light cream tone with clearly visible fossil detail. The most widely specified variety.
Myra Beige
Warmer creamy-beige selection with soft tonal variation — a gentle Mediterranean neutral for warmer palettes.

Important: Myra is a natural limestone — it is also traded under names including White Pearl, Limra, and Antalya Limestone, and some suppliers incorrectly label it as marble. It carries limestone's characteristic matte surface and organic texture. Requires sealing before and after installation. Free samples strongly recommended — shell fossil markings and tone vary between pieces and between lots.
