Myra Limestone is a fine-grained stone in pale ivory, with white veining and fossil-like marks that change from tile to tile. The honed finish is matte and soft, so light settles on the surface instead of glaring off it.

The 12 × 24 format keeps grout lines to a minimum. It suits a bath wall, a backsplash, a feature wall or a low-traffic floor. Limestone is more porous than marble, so plan to seal it and clean it with pH-neutral products.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer before use. Limestone benefits from a second coat on the first application. Reseal every 1-2 years in dry areas, every 12 months in wet ones.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft mop or cloth. Wipe up spills such as citrus, wine and coffee right away. Avoid vinegar, bleach and acidic cleaners.

Expect This

Color, veining and fossil detail vary from tile to tile at a V3 level. Acids can etch the honed surface. Lay tiles out dry and blend from several boxes before setting.

Does Myra Limestone need to be sealed?

Sealing is recommended. Use a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer before use, then reseal on schedule. Limestone is more porous than marble, so a second coat on the first application helps.

How much does one tile cover?

Each 12 × 24 tile covers 2 sq ft before waste. This tile is sold per sq ft, so divide your area by 2 for the tile count, then add 10%.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes, on sealed bath walls and low-traffic floors. For shower floors or other constantly wet areas, contact us to confirm before ordering.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
