Sealing: Myra Limestone is a porous natural stone and must be sealed before grouting and regularly thereafter. In pool and wet-area applications, apply a penetrating impregnating sealer rated for submerged or continuously wet use, and reseal every 12–18 months or as needed. Lighter cream tones are particularly susceptible to staining from pool chemicals, organic matter, and minerals — thorough and consistent sealing is essential.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only; never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), bleach, or harsh degreasers, as these will etch and deteriorate the limestone surface. For pool copings, rinse regularly with fresh water to remove chlorine and mineral deposits, and address any iron or organic staining promptly with a stone-safe poultice or stain remover.

Installation: Install with a polymer-modified white thinset mortar to avoid telegraphing color through the stone and to ensure maximum adhesion in wet conditions. Back-butter each coping piece fully and use a slight positive slope (1/8 inch per foot) away from the pool water for drainage. Use sanded grout appropriate for the joint width and ensure all joints and the back edge are sealed to prevent water infiltration behind the coping. Confirm substrate is properly waterproofed before installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
