Noce Travertine — the deepest, richest travertine color. Deep brown, chocolate, and walnut tones with low variation. Tile, mosaic, molding, and paver formats in tumbled, honed, brushed, and Versailles pattern finishes. The most consistent dark travertine for large installations. Noce Travertine Mosaic2 × 2 Polished, Unfilled

Warm walnut and tawny gold travertine in a polished 2 × 2 grid, with the stone's natural pits left open.

Noce travertine runs from walnut brown to tawny gold and creamy beige, with linear banding across each chip. Polishing deepens the color and adds sheen. The pits stay unfilled, so the surface keeps its open, textured character.

Square 2 × 2 chips sit in a straight grid on a mesh-backed 12 × 12 sheet. The small format suits backsplashes, bath walls and accent walls. It also works on light-traffic floors, where grout can be worked into the voids during installation.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer to all surfaces before grouting. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, grout haze removers and abrasive pads, which can etch or scratch the polish.

Expect This

The voids stay open unless filled with grout, and color, banding and pitting differ from chip to chip. That variation is part of natural travertine.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

What does unfilled mean?

You get travertine with its natural pits left open, which keeps the surface textured and rustic. Grout can be worked into the voids during installation for a smoother finish.

Can I use it in a shower?

You can use it on bathroom walls, including shower surrounds, once it is sealed before grouting. We suggest keeping it off shower floors and out of exterior spaces.

Can I use it on a floor?

You can use it on indoor floors with light traffic, with grout worked into the voids. For busier floors, a different material will wear better.

How do samples work?

Order up to 10 samples at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
