Sealing: Noce Travertine pool coping must be sealed with a penetrating, water-based stone sealer rated for exterior and wet-area use before installation and again every 12 months thereafter — or every 6 months in high-use or harsh climates. The honed and filled surface is more porous than polished stone, making consistent sealing critical to prevent water infiltration, algae staining, and freeze-thaw damage.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in water; avoid acidic cleaners, muriatic acid, chlorine-based pool chemicals in direct contact with the stone surface, and any abrasive scrubbing pads. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after pool chemical exposure. Address organic stains (algae, leaves) promptly with a stone-safe poultice or enzyme-based cleaner to prevent deep penetration.

Installation: Set pool coping with a polymer-modified exterior-grade thinset suitable for natural stone; back-butter each piece fully to eliminate voids beneath the 5 cm slab. Allow the coping to overhang the pool bond beam by approximately 1–1.5 inches. Use sanded exterior-grade grout or a travertine-matched non-sanded grout depending on joint width, and apply a flexible silicone caulk at the coping-to-deck joint to accommodate thermal expansion. Ensure proper slope away from the pool for drainage.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
