A cool silver-grey travertine with warm beige and ivory, brushed to a matte face and finished with chiseled edges.

Silver Travertine in an 8 × 8 format gathers silver-grey, ivory and warm beige on one face. The surface is brushed to a soft matte. The edges are chiseled, so each tile has an irregular, worn border and a shadow line at every joint.

This tile is sold unfilled, so the stone keeps its open pores and voids. Leave them for an antique look, or fill them with grout or epoxy during installation for a smoother surface. The square format works in a straight-set or offset layout.

Shade variation is V3, moderate, so expect real differences from tile to tile. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting. Because the tile is unfilled, make sure the sealer reaches the open voids. Re-seal every 12-18 months in wet areas.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus, bleach and abrasive pads, which can etch the brushed surface.

Expect This

Color, veining and pore density change from tile to tile. Edges are irregular by design. Voids stay open unless you fill them with grout or epoxy at installation.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

What does unfilled mean?

You get the stone with its natural pores and voids left open. Leave them for an antique look, or fill them with grout or epoxy during installation for a smoother surface. Your installer can advise on the best choice for your room.

Does this tile need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting to protect the stone. Because the voids are open, make sure the sealer reaches them. Re-seal every 12-18 months in wet areas.

How many tiles will I need?

Each 8 × 8 tile covers about 0.44 sq ft, so 100 sq ft takes about 225 tiles. The tile is sold per sq ft. Add 10% to your total for cuts and waste.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
