Sealing: Thassos marble is highly porous and must be sealed prior to installation and regularly maintained. Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. The pure white color makes staining especially visible, so consistent sealing is critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use acidic cleaners such as vinegar, citrus-based products, or bleach, which will etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and citrus juices, as the white polished surface is particularly susceptible to etching and staining.

Installation: Use bright white polymer-modified thinset to avoid any gray bleed-through on this ultra-white stone. Align mesh sheets carefully during installation to maintain consistent grout joint spacing across seams. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch to prevent surface scratching, and back-butter each sheet for full coverage and proper adhesion.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
