Sealing: Noce Travertine should be sealed with a penetrating impregnating sealer before installation and resealed every 12–18 months, especially in bathrooms or kitchens where moisture is present. The honed finish, while less porous-looking than tumbled, is still an open-stone surface that benefits from consistent sealing to prevent staining from oils and liquids.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or anything abrasive that can dull the honed surface. Wipe spills promptly, as the matte honed surface can absorb oils and tannins more visibly than a polished finish.

Installation: Use a white or tan polymer-modified thinset to avoid any dark adhesive bleeding through lighter veins. Apply thinset to both the wall surface and back-butter each piece individually to ensure full coverage on this narrow-profile molding. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch; ensure the baseboard is level and plumb for a clean architectural line. Fill any natural voids with a color-matched grout or travertine filler prior to sealing.

Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
