Sealing: Silver Travertine is a porous sedimentary stone and must be sealed before use, especially in outdoor and pool environments. Apply a high-quality penetrating stone sealer rated for exterior use prior to installation and re-seal annually in pool areas or high-moisture environments, and every 2–3 years for standard patios. A sealer with UV inhibitors is recommended for prolonged sun exposure to preserve the stone's natural color.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and warm water using a soft brush or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based), bleach, or harsh degreasers, which will etch and degrade both the stone surface and the sealer. For outdoor use, a gentle pressure wash at low to medium pressure is acceptable for periodic deep cleaning, but avoid concentrated high-pressure jets directly on the stone surface.

Installation: Set these 3 cm pavers on a compacted aggregate base with a full mortar bed for exterior applications, ensuring proper slope for drainage (minimum ¼ inch per foot away from structures). Use a travertine-compatible exterior-grade thinset or mortar and back-butter each paver fully to eliminate voids beneath the stone. Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
