Sealing: Noce Travertine is a porous natural stone and must be sealed before grouting and after installation. Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer and reapply every 12–18 months in wet areas such as showers. The honed finish, while more forgiving than polished, still requires consistent sealing to resist moisture and staining.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), alkaline degreasers, and abrasive scrubbers, which can etch and dull the honed surface. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and acidic liquids, to prevent absorption into the stone.

Installation: Use a white or light gray polymer-modified thinset to avoid color bleed through the stone. Back-butter each piece fully for a strong bond. Align pieces end-to-end with consistent 1/16-inch joints and use non-sanded grout for tight joints. Fill any travertine voids prior to sealing using a color-matched travertine filler or grout.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
