Sealing: Diana Royale marble should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 12–18 months, or more frequently in wet areas such as shower floors and bathroom floors. Its honed finish, while more forgiving of surface etching than polished marble, is still porous and benefits greatly from consistent sealer maintenance to prevent staining from oils, soaps, and hard water.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild soap-free solution and a soft mop or cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products) or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch the marble surface and dull the honed finish. Wipe up spills — particularly wine, coffee, citrus juice, and oil — promptly to prevent absorption into the stone.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through on this light-toned marble. For 18×18 large-format tiles, back-butter each tile in addition to combing the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. Use a medium-bed mortar if the substrate has any slight unevenness, and allow for 1/16" to 1/8" grout joints filled with a sanded or unsanded grout in a complementary warm beige or ivory tone.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
