Sealing: Seal the natural stone components of this molding with a penetrating stone sealer prior to grouting and installation. Reapply sealer annually in wet areas such as showers to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. The glass portions do not require sealing but benefit from the overall sealing process.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Avoid acidic cleaners such as vinegar or citrus-based products, as these can etch the stone chips and dull the glass surface. For polished stone segments, wipe dry after cleaning to prevent water spots and mineral deposits.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any dark adhesive from telegraphing through lighter stone or glass chips. Apply non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. Back-butter each piece individually for full contact and a secure bond. Ensure the wall substrate is flat and plumb before installation to maintain the clean, linear profile of the pencil trim.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
