About Myra Limestone 16×24 Eased Edge Tumbled Pool Coping

Material Education

Myra Limestone is a warm, earthy natural stone quarried in the Mediterranean region, prized for its creamy beige and golden-tan tones accented by subtle fossil inclusions and gentle cloud-like veining. Its fine-to-medium grain structure gives it a soft, organic texture that feels at home in both rustic and contemporary outdoor settings. The stone's naturally muted palette deepens slightly when wet, enhancing its visual warmth around water features.

As a genuine natural stone, each piece of Myra Limestone will display its own unique pattern of color shifts, fossil traces, and tonal movement — this variation is an authentic hallmark of the material, not a flaw.

About this tile: This 16×24 coping piece features a 5cm (approximately 2-inch) eased edge profile — a gently softened, slightly rounded front edge — and a tumbled finish that gives the surface and edges an aged, weathered character. The generous format provides a wide, comfortable ledge for pool surrounds while minimizing grout joints along the perimeter.

Design & Inspiration

Myra Limestone's warm beige and golden-tan palette pairs beautifully with brushed brass fixtures, warm white stucco, natural wood decking, and drought-tolerant landscaping, suiting Mediterranean, transitional, and resort-style outdoor designs. Its earthy tones complement both blue-tiled pool interiors and pebble-finished pool floors, creating a cohesive, spa-like atmosphere.

The 16×24 format with an eased edge is purpose-built for pool coping, delivering a smooth yet slip-resistant surface underfoot while the tumbled finish softens the visual line between the pool deck and the water. The aged aesthetic integrates effortlessly with flagstone patios, travertine decking, and natural garden elements for a seamless outdoor living space.

Popular design combinations: Myra Limestone pool coping paired with a matching 16×16 tumbled Myra field tile deck and a mosaic glass-tile pool interior in soft aqua or turquoise. Explore the full Limestone collection for coordinating sizes, and browse more limestone tile for complementary looks.

Myra Limestone is a warm, fossil-rich natural stone sourced from the Mediterranean region, celebrated for its creamy beige and golden-tan tones with subtle organic patterning. The 16×24 format offers a generous, proportional coping piece that creates a clean, wide ledge around pool edges with a timeless, handcrafted appearance.

Each piece is tumbled to produce a naturally aged, slightly textured surface and softly worn edges, and finished with a 5cm eased-edge profile on the front face for a safe, comfortable grip. The tumbled texture adds meaningful slip resistance when wet, making it an ideal choice for pool surrounds, while the warm stone tones remain visually inviting in full sun.

Myra Limestone pool coping is best suited for outdoor pool perimeters, spa surrounds, and waterfeature edges in residential and commercial settings. Because this is a natural stone used in a wet outdoor environment, professional sealing with a penetrating stone sealer rated for wet and freeze-thaw conditions is strongly recommended prior to installation and annually thereafter — we advise ordering a sample to confirm the color and texture in your specific lighting and landscape before committing to a full project quantity.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: Myra Limestone is a porous natural stone that must be sealed before installation in any outdoor or wet environment. Apply a premium penetrating/impregnating sealer rated for natural stone and freeze-thaw conditions prior to installation, and re-seal annually — or more frequently for heavily used pool surrounds. Light-toned limestone is particularly susceptible to staining from sunscreen, pool chemicals, and organic debris, so timely sealing and prompt spill clean-up are essential.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in water; never use acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, or harsh alkaline degreasers, as limestone is highly vulnerable to acid etching and surface erosion. For routine maintenance, rinse with fresh water after pool chemical exposure and sweep or blow off debris regularly. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on the stone surface, which can erode grout joints and open the stone's pores over time.

Installation: Use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar appropriate for exterior and wet applications; back-butter each coping piece thoroughly to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids that could trap water. Install with a slight pitch (1/8 inch per foot minimum) away from the pool to encourage water drainage. Ensure a waterproof membrane or proper substrate is in place beneath the coping, and use sanded grout or appropriate caulk at movement joints. Always dry-lay and inspect pieces for color and shade variation before committing to final installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order 10% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs. Tile & Mosaic Depot specialists are available M–F 8:30AM–5PM PST at 855-797-8453.

Why Order a Sample
A screen can't show you how Calacatta veining reads under your kitchen lights or how a porcelain finish sits next to your cabinet color. A sample can. It's the single best way to buy stone or porcelain tile with confidence — and the cheapest mistake you'll ever avoid.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

Good to Know

  • Samples are final sale — non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • We recommend sampling before every full order, especially for natural stone.
  • Larger or custom quantity? Contact us for a tailored quote.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Questions Before You Order?
Call (855) 797-8453 or email sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5 PM PT. If you're unsure about freight access at your address, ask us before checkout — we'll flag anything that could hold up delivery.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.

Responsibility
Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. We are not responsible for installation, labor costs, substrate conditions, setting materials, product misuse, or damage from handling, sealing, maintenance, or chemicals. No claims, returns, or replacements are accepted on installed material.
