A pencil liner is a slim, rounded strip of stone that frames a backsplash, borders a niche, or separates fields of tile with a crisp, clean line. Baseboards finish the base of a wall where it meets the floor. These small pieces do the finishing work that elevates an installation — capping exposed edges and adding a layer of craftsmanship that off-the-shelf trims can't match.

Match the stone and finish to your field tile for a seamless look, and order at the same time so lots match. Natural stone is porous and should be sealed; onyx especially is soft and delicate.
