Sealing: White Carrara marble is moderately porous and should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and upon installation. In wet areas such as shower floors, re-seal every 6–12 months to protect against water infiltration and staining. The pale white ground of Carrara is especially susceptible to discoloration from oils, soaps, and hard water, so consistent sealing is critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon-based products), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers — these will etch and dull the polished surface permanently. Wipe up spills, especially acidic liquids like wine, citrus juice, or coffee, immediately to prevent etching and staining.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey show-through beneath the pale stone. Align mesh sheets carefully, maintaining consistent joint spacing at sheet seams to preserve the basketweave pattern continuity. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch; for the blue dot surrounds, take care not to smear grout across the polished surface — clean promptly with a damp sponge and buff dry. Back-butter individual chips on uneven substrates for full adhesion coverage.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
