A honed white marble baseboard with soft grey veining and a molded profile, designed to finish the line where wall meets floor.

Asian Statuary, also sold as Oriental White, is a white marble with a clean ground and grey veining. The honed face is smooth and matte, with a soft glow rather than a mirror shine. This 4 3/4 × 12 baseboard adds a molded profile along the top edge.

Use it with honed or polished marble field tile to carry stone down to the floor line in a bath, foyer or hallway. Natural marble varies in veining and tone from piece to piece. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a quality penetrating stone sealer before installation. White and pale marbles show stains readily. Reseal every 6–12 months in bathrooms and other wet areas.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, bleach and abrasive scrubbers. Wipe up oils, wine and acidic liquids promptly.

Expect This

Acids can etch a honed surface and dull the finish. Veining, tone and mineral inclusions vary from piece to piece, as with all natural marble.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Does this molding need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before installation to help protect the pale stone from stains. Plan to reseal every 6–12 months in bathrooms and other wet areas.

What mortar should I use?

Use a white polymer-modified thinset to help prevent grey bleed-through behind this pale marble. Back-butter each piece for adhesion, and make sure the wall is plumb and flat.

Where can I use this baseboard?

Use it indoors as wall and floor trim in bathrooms, foyers, hallways and kitchens. Honed marble is not rated for exterior exposure, and a trim piece is not meant as a walking surface.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
