Sealing: Asian Statuary marble is a pale, relatively porous stone and should be sealed with a penetrating impregnator sealer before grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against water infiltration and staining. The white background is particularly susceptible to discoloration from oils, soaps, and hard water, so thorough sealing is strongly advised.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based), bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and dull the polished surface. The high-gloss polished finish shows water spots and soap residue more readily than honed finishes, so dry the surface after each use in wet areas to maintain its brilliance.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset to prevent any grey or dark adhesive from telegraphing through the translucent white marble. Set with non-sanded grout for the slim joint lines typical of pencil liner installations. Back-butter each piece fully for maximum adhesion and to prevent hollow spots. Align pieces carefully end-to-end, maintaining consistent joint spacing for a seamless border line.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
