Sealing: Seal with a penetrating, impregnating stone sealer before grouting and immediately after installation. Because Oriental White is a light-colored, relatively porous marble, sealing is especially critical — reseal every 6 to 12 months in wet areas such as showers, and annually on backsplashes, to prevent staining and moisture infiltration.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a mild solution of warm water and a few drops of dish soap; rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots on the polished surface. Avoid all acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon-based products, grout haze removers) and alkaline degreasers — polished marble etches easily when exposed to acids, leaving dull marks that require professional re-polishing to remove.

Installation: Use bright white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through showing beneath the translucent white stone chips. Apply non-sanded grout in joints under 1/8 inch to protect the tile edges, and press each mesh sheet firmly and evenly to ensure full contact. Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
