Thassos White is a bright, near-veinless white marble. This mosaic comes as 3 × 3 inch lantern chips, arranged in an interlocking Casablanca pattern on a mesh-backed sheet. The curved joints draw a quiet, geometric line across the wall.

The polished face reflects light and keeps the field clean and crisp. Each sheet presses into thinset as a unit, so chip spacing stays consistent. Pure white shows stains, so seal before grouting. Your sample comes from the lot we have in stock now, so it shows that lot's actual color range and finish. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating impregnating sealer to a clean, dry surface before grouting. Wipe off excess before it hazes. In wet areas such as showers, re-seal every 6–12 months.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, and other acidic or alkaline cleaners. Wipe up spills promptly.

Expect This

Polished marble can etch from acidic substances and may scratch under heavy use. Subtle variation in crystal texture is natural. Use bright-white polymer-modified thinset beneath this pale stone.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Do I need to seal this mosaic?

Sealing before grouting helps protect the white stone from staining. Use a penetrating impregnating sealer on a clean, dry surface, and re-seal every 6–12 months in wet areas.

Can I use it on a kitchen backsplash or shower wall?

Yes, it suits indoor backsplashes, bath and shower walls, and accent walls. For floors, it is listed for indoor residential use. Wet-area floors, outdoor and commercial spaces are better handled with a different product.

How is the mosaic supplied?

Chips are pre-set on a mesh-backed sheet measuring 12 × 10.2 inches, and you press the whole sheet into thinset. It is sold per sheet, and mosaic orders over $1,999 ship free.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
