Sahara Siwa Crystal SandStar Pattern Sheet, Polished

Triangular chips of sand-toned, gray and white stone form a soft star pattern on one mesh-backed, polished sheet.

Three natural stones share each sheet: warm Sahara Siwa Crystal Sand, soft Athens Gray marble and bright Thassos White marble. Small triangular chips repeat in a star pattern. The palette runs from cream through gray to white.

The polished surface carries light across the sheet without hard contrast, so the pattern reads as texture more than color. It suits kitchen backsplashes, bath and shower walls, and powder room feature walls. Seal before grouting.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and before first use. Reseal every 6-12 months in wet areas such as showers, or yearly in drier spots such as backsplashes.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. Wipe up oil, wine and citrus promptly. Avoid vinegar, bleach and other acidic or alkaline cleaners, which can dull polished stone.

Expect This

Each chip has its own veining and tone. Variation is moderate (V3), so sheets will differ from one another. Pale marble can stain or etch if left unsealed.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Can I use it on shower walls?

You can use it on bath and shower walls. Seal before grouting and reseal every 6-12 months in wet areas. For a shower floor, ask a specialist first, since that use is not confirmed.

Does it need sealing?

Yes, sealing is recommended. Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again before first use. Pale marble can stain or etch if left unsealed.

Can I use it on a floor?

You can use it on light-traffic indoor floors. A polished finish is better kept to walls and low-traffic areas, so a backsplash or feature wall is the best fit.

How do samples work?

You can order up to 10 samples per order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
