Honed Crema Marfil marble in a 10 × 10 mosaic, with a soft ivory ground and fine tan veining.

Crema Marfil has a warm ivory to cream ground with soft beige and tan veining. The honed finish is smooth and matte, so light settles on the surface instead of glaring. The result is calm, pale and quietly detailed.

This mosaic is supplied mesh-backed, which keeps the pieces aligned during setting. The warm tone sits well with brushed brass, warm white oak and soft greige grout. Polished chrome and white millwork give a cooler, cleaner read.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. In wet areas, reapply every 6–12 months. Honed stone is more porous than polished, so it benefits from regular sealing.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Wipe up coffee, wine and oil promptly. Avoid vinegar, citrus and acidic or abrasive products, which can etch the honed surface.

Expect This

Color, veining and texture vary naturally from piece to piece. Inspect before installing, and order your full quantity plus 10% for cuts and waste.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Can I use it in a shower?

Yes, on bathroom walls, shower surrounds and niches. Seal before grouting and after installation, and reapply sealer every 6–12 months in wet areas. Shower floors are not covered in our product data, so check with us before specifying one.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to your order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

What should I set it with?

Use white polymer-modified thinset to avoid gray showing through pale marble. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch, and let the thinset cure fully before grouting.

Does it qualify for free shipping?

Yes. As a mosaic, orders over $1,999 ship free within the continental U.S. Smaller orders ship at the rate shown at checkout.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
