Belgian Blue Limestone
A deep, sophisticated dark limestone with European heritage. Belgian Blue is a dense dark blue-gray limestone — available in honed, brushed, and textured bamboo finishes — a dramatic, refined natural stone for floors, walls, and feature surfaces.
What makes Belgian Blue unique
Belgian Blue (Pierre Bleue) is a celebrated dark limestone quarried in Belgium and used in European architecture for centuries. Despite the name it reads as a deep blue-gray to near-charcoal, often flecked with tiny fossil traces, giving it a rich, dramatic character that's both classic and contemporary. Dense and hard-wearing for a limestone, it stands up well to use, and its range of finishes — smooth honed, softly textured brushed, and the distinctive linear bamboo finish — lets you dial in exactly the look and feel you want.
Honed Finish
A smooth matte surface that deepens the dark blue-gray tone.
Brushed Finish
Softly textured 12×24 and 16×24 with subtle grip and a tactile feel.
Bamboo Texture
A distinctive linear-grooved 12×24 finish for modern, dimensional detail.
Dark Blue-Gray
Deep blue-gray to charcoal — dramatic and sophisticated.
Fossil Character
Subtle natural fossil flecks give each tile a unique, organic story.
European Heritage
Belgian Pierre Bleue, used in European architecture for centuries.
Care & install: Limestone is porous and should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer (exterior-rated for outdoor use), and cleaned only with pH-neutral products (acidic cleaners etch limestone). As a dark stone it shows etching and water marks more readily, so seal well; brushed and bamboo finishes hide marks better than honed. Natural fossil flecks and tone variation are part of the character; order a sample and blend tiles from multiple boxes.
