Sealing: Eastern White marble must be sealed prior to installation and resealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. Use a penetrating impregnating sealer rated for polished marble. Pay particular attention to sealing around brass inlays where grout joints meet the metal. White and pale marbles show staining more readily than darker stones and benefit from more frequent sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), alkaline degreasers, and abrasive scrubbers — acids will etch the polished marble surface, causing dull spots that are difficult to restore. Wipe up spills immediately, especially oils, coffee, wine, and citrus juices. For the brass inserts, avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may tarnish or corrode the metal finish.

Installation: Always use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey bleed-through that could discolor the white marble. Back-butter each sheet in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full coverage. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch to avoid scratching the polished marble surface. Align mesh sheets carefully to maintain the radiating sunburst geometry — dry-lay several sheets before setting to confirm pattern continuity. A professional installer experienced with marble mosaics and metal inlay tiles is strongly recommended.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
