Nova Blue Limestone Mini Brick Mosaic1/2 × 1 Mini Brick, Honed

Small offset limestone bricks in a honed blue-gray, mounted on 12 × 12 mesh sheets for backsplashes and walls.

Nova Blue, also sold as Lagos Blue, is a blue-gray limestone with a fine grain and pale fossil flecks. The honed surface is smooth and matte, so the color stays calm and the texture does the work.

The 1/2" × 1" chips are set in an offset brick pattern on mesh-backed sheets. Each sheet covers 1 sq ft. The small scale suits backsplashes, feature walls, powder-room accents and niches. Mesh sheets can be cut to fit.

Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before and after installation. Reseal periodically, especially in wet areas. Limestone is porous and acid-sensitive.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners, bleach, vinegar and ammonia-based products. They can etch limestone and dull the surface.

Expect This

Color and fossil markings vary from chip to chip and sheet to sheet. Blend sheets from several boxes as you set them. Professional installation is recommended.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Can I use it in a shower?

Yes, it is listed for shower walls, backsplashes and other indoor walls. Seal it before and after installation. Shower floors are not verified for this mosaic, so check with us before using it there.

How much does one sheet cover?

Each 12 × 12 sheet covers 1 sq ft, and it is sold by the sheet. Measure your area, then add 10% for cuts and to keep the job within one lot.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to your order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

Does free shipping apply, and can I return it?

Orders over $1,999 ship free within the continental U.S., since this is a mosaic. It is a clearance item and final sale, so a sample first is the best way to confirm color and finish.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
