What makes Nova Blue distinctive
Nova Blue Limestone — sold in many markets under its trade name Lagos Blue — forms from fine-grained calcium carbonate sediment deposited in ancient marine environments; the blue-gray color comes from the iron and clay mineral content of the original sediment. Unlike cream or beige limestone varieties that read as warm, Nova Blue reads as cool and architectural — closer in palette to a polished concrete or a cool gray marble, but with limestone's characteristically matte surface and subtle organic texture.
