Sealing: Crema Perlino limestone must be sealed prior to installation and resealed every 12–18 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. Use a premium penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer appropriate for porous limestone. Because of the stone's light cream color, consistent sealing is critical to prevent oil, grout haze, and water staining.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus), alkaline degreasers, or abrasive scrubbers, as limestone is highly vulnerable to acid etching. Wipe up spills promptly, especially acidic substances like wine, coffee, or juice, which can etch or discolor the honed surface.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset to prevent any gray bleed-through on this pale stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate for full, void-free coverage. Use unsanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch or sanded grout for wider joints, and seal grout lines once fully cured. Ensure the substrate is flat and level — large-format stone tiles require a lippage-free surface.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
