What makes Light Blue Marble unique
Light Blue Marble gets its distinctive color from mineral impurities — primarily clay and organic matter — that create a soft blue-gray cloudiness within the white calcium carbonate matrix. The result is a stone with an atmospheric, almost watercolor quality that reads differently at different times of day and under different lighting conditions. Under cool daylight it appears clearly blue-gray. Under warm incandescent light it can shift toward silver, mauve, or even lavender.
