Sealing: White Carrara marble is a light, porous stone that requires sealing before grouting and use. Apply a premium penetrating stone sealer upon installation and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. Pale marble shows staining more readily than darker stones, so consistent sealing is essential to maintain its pristine appearance.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners, as these will etch the polished surface and cause permanent dull spots. Wipe up spills, especially coffee, wine, and citrus, immediately to prevent staining. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the polish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey bleed-through on the pale stone face. Back-butter each tile in addition to applying thinset to the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids, which is especially critical at this large 18×36 format to prevent cracking. Use a non-sanded or fine-sanded grout in a matching white or light grey tone, and ensure a proper lippage-free substrate — large-format tiles require a flat, level surface within industry tolerances.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.

Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
