Sealing: Seal with a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer before grouting and after installation. Reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers or around sinks. White and light-toned Carrara marble is particularly susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and acidic liquids, so consistent sealing is essential to protect the surface.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild dish soap diluted in warm water, and dry the surface promptly with a soft cloth. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia-based cleaners, or abrasive scrubbing pads — acidic substances will etch the honed surface, leaving dull marks that require professional polishing to remove.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent grey bleed-through on the light stone surface. Back-butter each tile in addition to spreading thinset on the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids. Use non-sanded grout for joints up to 1/8 inch; for a classic look, a bright white unsanded grout complements the stone's palette. Allow full cure before sealing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
