Noce Travertine — the deepest, richest travertine color. Deep brown, chocolate, and walnut tones with low variation. Noce Travertine12 × 12 Tumbled

Walnut brown and caramel travertine in a tumbled 12 × 12 square, with softened edges and the natural pits of the stone.

Noce runs from walnut brown to caramel, gold and mocha. Natural pits and voids mark the face, and fossil markings vary from tile to tile. Each piece carries its own pattern of tone and texture.

The tumbled finish softens edges and corners and gives the surface a worn, weathered look. The 12 × 12 square suits wide, continuous floors, and it works equally well on walls and patios.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Travertine is porous. Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before installation, and reseal every 1-2 years. The open pits absorb liquids quickly, so seal thoroughly.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, bleach and other acids, which can etch the stone. A soft-bristle brush helps clear debris from the pits.

Expect This

Pits, voids, fossil markings and color shifts are part of natural travertine. Expect moderate shade variation from tile to tile.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Can I use this tile outdoors?

You can use it on outdoor patios and walkways, as well as on indoor floors and walls. Seal it before installation. For pool surrounds or colder climates, check your installation requirements with your installer first.

How do I order a sample?

You can order up to 10 samples per order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Order one to see the tumbled surface and color range in your own light.

How much tile should I order?

Each 12 × 12 tile covers 1 sq ft, and the tile is sold per sq ft. Add 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste, and order it all at once so it comes from one lot.

Does it need sealing?

Sealing is recommended. A penetrating stone sealer protects the open pits from stains, and you can reseal every 1-2 years. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
