Sealing: Noce travertine is a porous stone that must be sealed before installation and resealed every 1–2 years, or annually in wet areas such as showers and pool surrounds. Use a penetrating stone sealer appropriate for travertine; the tumbled surface's open pits absorb liquids quickly, making thorough sealing critical.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft mop or cloth — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or acidic products, as these will etch and deteriorate the stone surface over time. For the tumbled texture, a soft-bristle brush can help dislodge debris from natural pits and crevices without damaging the stone.

Installation: Use a gray or beige polymer-modified thinset to complement Noce's warm tones, and back-butter each tile for full coverage on floor applications. Natural pits and voids in tumbled travertine are typically filled with grout during installation — use a sanded grout matched to the stone's tones and work it thoroughly into the surface, wiping excess promptly. Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
