A polished 3×12 white Carrara marble plank with soft grey veining, suited to indoor walls and backsplashes.

White Carrara marble has a soft white to light grey ground with delicate grey veining. The polished face brings out the stone's crystalline surface and reflects light. This 3×12 field tile gives a long, narrow brick shape with a clean, linear look.

Set it in a brick offset, stack bond, or vertical pattern. Each layout changes the feel of a wall. Use it on bathroom walls, a kitchen backsplash, a powder room, or an accent wall. Pair it with white thinset and a grout close to the veining.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. In wet areas, reapply every 6-12 months. The light color shows stains easily.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid vinegar, lemon, bleach, and other acidic or alkaline cleaners. Wipe up coffee, wine, and citrus promptly.

Expect This

Color, veining, and texture vary from tile to tile. Polished marble can etch if exposed to acids. Inspect all tile before installing, since installed tile can't be returned.

Where can I use this tile?

Use it on indoor walls, backsplashes, and accent walls, where the polished face is easy to care for. We suggest a different tile for floors, since polished marble can be slippery and may etch.

What thinset and grout should I use?

Choose a white polymer-modified thinset to avoid grey bleed-through, and back-butter each tile for full coverage. Grout joints of 1/16"-1/8" work well, with unsanded or fine-sanded grout in a color matched to the veining.

How much should I order?

Each piece covers 0.25 sq ft, and the tile is sold per sq ft. Measure your area and add 10% for cuts and waste, all from one lot.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
