White Carrara marble chips woven in a basketweave, with small black marble dots at each intersection, on a 12 × 12 mesh-backed sheet.

Soft white marble with fine grey veining, cut into small oblong chips. Black dots mark each point where the weave crosses. The polished face reflects light and shows the veining clearly.

The mesh backing holds the chips in even alignment, so the sheet sets as one piece. Use it on a backsplash, a bath wall or a feature wall. Charcoal or soft grey grout sharpens the pattern. White grout keeps it quieter.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again right after installation. Reseal as needed to guard the pale surface against stains and moisture.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid vinegar, lemon, bleach and acidic or abrasive cleaners. Blot spills quickly, especially wine, coffee and oils.

Expect This

Veining and tone vary from chip to chip and lot to lot. Polished marble can etch and scratch over time, which is normal for the stone.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order a sample?

Add up to 10 samples to one order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free, within 1-3 business days. Order one to see the white, the grey veining and the polish in your own light.

How big is each sheet and each chip?

Each sheet is 12 × 12 inches and is sold per sheet. The white chips measure approximately 1 × 2 inches, and the black dots are 3/8 inch.

Does this mosaic need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. This helps protect the white marble from stains and moisture. Reseal as needed over time.

Which grout color works best?

Charcoal or soft grey grout makes the weave and dots stand out. White grout gives a quieter, more uniform look. Set a sample against both before you decide.

Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
