Carrara white, Thassos white and black marble penny rounds, pre-arranged on a mesh-backed sheet with a polished finish.

Three marbles share one sheet. Carrara brings a soft white-gray ground with fine veining. Thassos adds a clean, bright white. The black chips give the pattern its edge. Each chip is about 7/8 inch across, and the polished face catches light.

The chips come pre-arranged in a repeating three-tone layout on a sheet of about 12 × 12 inches. The pattern reads as graphic from a distance and softens up close. It suits a backsplash, a bath wall or a feature wall.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. Carrara and Thassos are porous and can stain. In wet areas, plan to reseal every 6–12 months.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid vinegar, citrus cleaners, bleach and abrasive scrubbers. Wipe up spills, especially acidic ones, right away.

Expect This

Each chip has its own veining and tone. Polished marble can etch from acids and show scratches with heavy wear. That is normal for the material.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

How do I order samples?

Order up to 10 samples per order at $7.99 each. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. View them in your own light, next to your cabinetry and fixtures.

Does this mosaic need sealing?

Seal it with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again after installation. This helps protect the pale Carrara and Thassos chips from staining. Reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas.

What thinset and grout should I use?

Use white thinset so gray mortar does not show through the lighter chips. Non-sanded grout suits the tight joints between chips, typically 1/16–1/8 inch. Your installer can confirm the best products for your substrate.

Where can I use this mosaic?

Use it indoors on walls, backsplashes and low-traffic floors. Polished marble is sensitive to acids and heavy wear, so a honed finish or a different material suits commercial floors better. It is not rated for outdoor freeze-thaw conditions.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
