Outdoor care: Travertine is porous, so seal it with a quality exterior-rated penetrating sealer and reapply periodically. The tumbled finish offers good slip resistance for wet pool areas; in freeze-thaw climates confirm the stone and installation are rated for those conditions and use exterior-rated setting materials. Pavers and coping are sold by the piece — calculate coverage and linear footage, and add extra for cuts.
