Sealing: Spanish Grey marble should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and after installation. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months to protect against moisture infiltration and staining. The polished surface, while dense, remains porous and benefits from consistent sealing maintenance.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or any acidic or alkaline cleaner, as these will etch the polished surface and cause dull spots. Wipe up spills promptly, especially oils, wine, and citrus-based liquids, to prevent staining the stone.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any grey bleed-through on pale stone chips. Apply non-sanded grout for the tight joints typical of a 1×1 mosaic to prevent scratching the polished faces. Lay mesh sheets face-up, press firmly with a grout float for full coverage, and ensure sheets are properly aligned at seams before the mortar sets.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
