Sealing: Statuario marble must be sealed before grouting and use. Apply a high-quality penetrating (impregnating) stone sealer prior to installation and reseal every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers and around sinks. The bright white background is especially susceptible to staining from oils, wine, and pigmented liquids — do not skip sealing.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop only. Never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, ammonia, or any acidic or alkaline cleaners — they will etch the polished surface, leaving permanent dull spots. Wipe spills immediately, especially from coffee, red wine, and citrus. Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that can scratch the high-gloss finish.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar — never grey thinset, which can telegraph through and discolor the translucent white stone. Back-butter each tile in addition to troweling the substrate to ensure full coverage and eliminate voids beneath the large-format tiles. Use a large-format tile leveling system to keep lippage to an absolute minimum. Choose an unsanded or fine-sanded white grout for joints. Acclimate tiles to room temperature before installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
