A walnut-brown travertine paver with softened, tumbled edges, 3 cm thick and sold for outdoor patios and walkways.

Walnut Travertine runs from chocolate brown and caramel to russet, with cream veining and the natural pits and voids typical of travertine. The tumbled finish rounds the edges and gives the surface a lightly worn, aged look.

The 12 × 12 square lays in an orderly grid that still reads as organic. At 3 cm thick, it is sold as an outdoor paver for patios, garden paths and entryways. The voids can be filled with grout or left open.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Seal before installation with a penetrating impregnating sealer made for porous natural stone. Reseal every 1-2 years, especially outdoors. A color-enhancing sealer will deepen the brown tones.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner with a soft mop or brush. Skip vinegar, citrus and other acidic cleaners, which etch travertine. Rinse outdoor pavers regularly to clear debris.

Expect This

Color, veining and surface texture vary from piece to piece. Natural pits and voids are part of the stone. Edges are softly rounded from tumbling.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Can I use this paver outdoors?

Yes. It is sold as an outdoor paver and suits patios and walkways. For pool surrounds, freeze-thaw climates or heavy loads, confirm the setting with your installer before you order.

Does it need to be sealed?

Seal it before installation and again every 1-2 years with a penetrating sealer made for porous natural stone. Sealing protects against moisture and stains, and it matters most when the voids are left open.

How much should I order?

Each piece covers 1 sq ft, so measure your area and add 10%. Ordering everything at once keeps the job in one lot. The extra covers cuts and the stone's natural variation.

Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
