A honed White Carrara marble hexagon mosaic on mesh-backed sheets, with soft grey veining across a white ground.

Large six-inch hexagons give this mosaic a calm, graphic pattern. The ground is white, and the grey veining is soft and feathery. The honed finish is smooth and matte with a low sheen, so light settles on the stone instead of glaring off it.

Each sheet holds the hexagon chips on a mesh backing, which keeps the spacing even and makes setting simpler than placing chips one by one. Sold per sheet. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days.

Care & Cleaning

Seal It

Apply a penetrating stone sealer before grouting and again before first use. Reseal periodically. In wet areas, every 6-12 months is advised. White and light grey marble shows stains readily.

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner in warm water with a soft microfiber cloth or mop. Skip vinegar, citrus products, bleach and abrasive scrubbers. Wipe up coffee, wine and citrus spills quickly.

Expect This

Honed marble can etch if it meets acids, and a dulled spot can be permanent. Veining and tone vary naturally from chip to chip and lot to lot.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Where can I use this mosaic?

Use it indoors on backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom walls and low-traffic floors. Choose a different material for outdoor, freeze-thaw or heavy commercial settings, where natural marble is not recommended.

Does it need to be sealed?

Sealing is recommended, and the best time is before grouting. A penetrating stone sealer helps guard against stains, and reapplying it over time keeps that protection in place.

Does this mosaic qualify for free shipping?

Yes, as a mosaic it qualifies for free shipping on orders over $1,999. Smaller orders ship at the rate calculated at checkout.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
