Sealing: Thassos White is a dense but highly porous white marble that is exceptionally susceptible to staining — seal this border with a penetrating impregnating sealer immediately upon installation. In wet areas such as showers, reapply sealer every 6–12 months. The pure white background makes any unsealed staining highly visible, so consistent sealing is essential.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. Never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products), alkaline degreasers, or abrasive pads — acids will etch the honed surface and acidic residue is especially visible on bright white marble. Wipe spills — especially coffee, wine, and oils — immediately to prevent absorption.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray show-through on the translucent white stone. Butter the back of each piece fully to ensure complete contact and prevent lippage. Use non-sanded grout in a bright white or matching tone for any joints. Align the bias angle carefully during layout to maintain a clean, consistent diagonal line across the installation.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
