The Ardesia Glossy Jolly Liner is a precision-crafted porcelain trim piece inspired by the layered tones of natural slate, featuring a cool gray and blue-charcoal palette beneath a smooth, high-gloss glaze. Designed to coordinate with the Ardesia field tile collection, it brings a cohesive, polished finish to every edge and border detail.

At 1/2 × 12 inches, this jolly-profile liner installs flush against tile edges to create clean terminations at exposed corners, shower niches, backsplash borders, and wall transitions. The glossy finish reflects light beautifully and ensures a seamless visual connection with matching glossy field tiles.

Best suited for interior wall and backsplash applications, including shower surrounds, bathroom accent borders, and kitchen backsplash frames — not recommended for floor use due to the slim profile and glossy surface. 30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Sealing: Porcelain does not require sealing. The glazed glossy surface is non-porous and fully resistant to moisture and staining without any topical treatment.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral tile cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners that can dull the glossy glaze over time. Wipe dry after wet-area use to prevent water spot buildup on the reflective surface.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset to prevent any gray adhesive from telegraphing through the slim profile. Align the jolly edge flush with the field tile face for a seamless, professional finish. Use non-sanded grout for any joints under 1/8 inch. Dry-fit pieces along the run before setting to ensure consistent alignment.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Processing & Transit
In-stock orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Most tile and stone orders ship via scheduled LTL freight and typically arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on your destination. You'll receive tracking and carrier details by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Freight Delivery

  • Curbside delivery. The carrier unloads at the curb or driveway nearest your address; delivery does not include moving materials indoors or into a garage.
  • Scheduled appointment. The freight company contacts you directly to arrange a delivery window.
  • Signature required. An adult (18+) must be present to inspect and sign for the shipment.
  • Clear access. Please ensure the delivery site is reachable by a freight truck and free of obstructions.

Natural Variation
Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

  • Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
  • Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
  • Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
