A slim glossy porcelain liner in cool slate gray, made to cap edges and define borders beside Ardesia field tile.

The Ardesia Jolly Liner is a pencil-profile trim, 1/2 inch wide and 12 inches long. It caps exposed edges, frames transitions and finishes the border of a tiled wall. The glaze is glossy, and the cool gray reads from deep charcoal to softer pewter as the light shifts.

Use it indoors on walls and backsplashes, beside glossy field tile. Samples are $7.99 each, up to 10 per order. Samples ship free and go out within 1-3 business days. A sample shows you the color and sheen in your own light before you order.

Care & Cleaning

Clean It

Use a pH-neutral tile cleaner and a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners, which can dull the glaze over time.

Grout

Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch. White thinset helps keep gray adhesive from showing through the slim profile.

Expect This

Glazed porcelain does not need sealing. The glossy surface can show water spots, so wipe it dry after wet-area use.

Tile & Mosaic Depot supplies material only. Installation method, setting materials, and substrate are your installer's responsibility. Inspect every piece before setting; installation is acceptance, and installed material cannot be returned or claimed.

Where can I use this liner?

Use it on indoor walls and backsplashes as a border, edge cap or transition strip. It suits tiled walls, mirror surrounds and wainscot tops. Floors are best left to field tile, as the slim, glossy profile is not designed for foot traffic.

Will my order look like the sample?

Yes. Porcelain is made to a consistent color and finish, so your order will look like your sample.

Does it need to be sealed?

The glazed porcelain surface is ready to use without sealing. Clean it with a pH-neutral cleaner and wipe it dry in wet areas to limit water spots.

Yes. As a molding, orders over $1,999 qualify for free shipping. Smaller orders ship at the rate calculated at checkout.

How It Works
Samples are $7.99 each. Samples ship free and leave our warehouse within 1–3 business days. Sizes vary by material and availability — typically 3"×3" up to 8"×8" — and every sample is cut from the same material stocked for full orders.

What a Sample Shows
Color, texture, finish, and overall character. Because natural stone varies piece to piece, one sample represents the material but can't show the full range of a lot. Porcelain samples are highly representative of the production run. Want to see the current lot before you commit? Ask us — we'll send photos.

How Your Order Ships
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 2–3 business days. Stone, porcelain, and mosaic ship on a pallet via scheduled LTL freight and arrive 2–10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination. You'll get tracking and the carrier's name by email the day it ships.

Freight Delivery — What to Expect

  • The carrier calls you first. Every freight delivery is by appointment. Expect a call or text to set a window before the truck is dispatched.
  • Curbside delivery. The driver unloads to the curb or driveway. Freight does not include carrying material indoors or into a garage — plan for a helper or a hand truck.
  • Someone 18+ must sign. Inspect the pallet before signing. Note any damage, shortage, or broken shrink-wrap on the delivery receipt — this is what makes a claim valid.
  • Truck access. The address must be accessible to a full-size freight truck with enough space to unload.

Free Shipping
Free curbside freight on qualifying mosaic and molding orders over $1,999 in the continental U.S. Field tile, porcelain, and other product types ship at freight rates shown at checkout. Not available to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses.

Damage & Shortages
Report within 3 calendar days of delivery with photos of the pallet, packaging, and affected pieces to sales@tileandmosaicdepot.com. Verified claims are covered. Shortages of 1–5 pieces are refunded rather than reshipped — which is why we recommend ordering 10% overage.

30-Day Returns
Uninstalled tile in full, unopened boxes may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is paid by the customer. Partial boxes, opened boxes, installed material, and samples are final sale.

Natural Variation
Quarried stone varies in color, veining, shade, movement, and finish from piece to piece and from lot to lot. Screen photos and samples show the range, not the exact tile you'll receive. Variation is the nature of the material and is never grounds for return. Porcelain is far more consistent, but shade and pattern can still shift between production runs — buy your full quantity in one order.

Before You Install

  • Order 10% overage. Covers cuts, breakage, and spares for future repairs. Reorders may not match in tone or lot.
  • Inspect every piece before setting. Pull from all boxes, blend, and dry-lay the full area. Installation is acceptance — no claims are honored once tile is set.
  • Hire a qualified installer. Natural stone and large-format porcelain require experience with the material. Your installer is responsible for substrate, setting materials, and method.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a penetrating sealer and re-sealed periodically in wet and high-traffic areas. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — vinegar, bleach, ammonia, and acidic cleaners etch marble, limestone, travertine, and onyx permanently. Porcelain does not require sealing. Outdoor stone weathers and shifts in tone over time; this is expected.
