Bardiglio Nuvolato is a prized Tuscan marble renowned for its deep blue-gray and charcoal ground swept with soft white and silver veining that evokes storm clouds in motion. Quarried for centuries in the hills of Tuscany, it is one of Italy's most architecturally storied gray marbles, beloved by designers for its moody sophistication and timeless European character.

Presented in a high-gloss polished finish, this slab captures the full richness of Bardiglio Nuvolato's tonal depth — the mirror-like surface intensifies the contrast between its dark ground and pale veining, producing a dramatic, jewel-like effect. The slab format gives fabricators and designers complete freedom to orient book-matched panels, cut custom sizes, or create fluid countertop and cladding solutions with perfectly continuous stone movement.

Bardiglio Nuvolato slab is ideal for kitchen and bathroom countertops, full-height shower surrounds, fireplace cladding, flooring, and architectural millwork where a bold gray marble statement is desired. As a clearance or special-order slab item, we strongly recommend ordering a physical sample before committing to a full purchase, and consulting with your fabricator regarding slab yield and thickness requirements.

Free Shipping: This product ships at standard freight rates calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Processing & Delivery: Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Large orders ship via LTL freight — curbside delivery only. An adult must be present to sign for delivery. Estimated transit: 2–10 business days after shipment.

30-Day Returns: Uninstalled tile may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Inspect all tile carefully before installation — installed tile cannot be returned or exchanged. Samples are final sale.

Exclusions: Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Additional charges may apply for remote delivery areas.

Sealing: Bardiglio Nuvolato, like all natural marble, is porous and must be sealed prior to installation and regularly thereafter. Apply a high-quality penetrating stone sealer before use and reseal every 6–12 months, or more frequently in wet environments such as shower surrounds and kitchen countertops where exposure to moisture and acids is constant. The dense gray stone may resist staining better than white marble, but sealing remains essential for long-term protection.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth or mop — never use vinegar, lemon juice, bleach, or ammonia-based cleaners, as acids will etch the polished surface and dull its reflective finish. Wipe up spills — especially from citrus, wine, coffee, and oils — immediately to prevent etching or staining. For daily maintenance, warm water and a gentle stone soap are sufficient.

Installation: When fabricating countertops or cladding panels from this slab, work with an experienced natural stone fabricator to ensure proper cutting, edge profiling, and seam placement. For wall installations, use a white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid any gray bleed-through on cut edges. Ensure the substrate is flat, level, and structurally sound before installation. For shower applications, use a waterproof membrane beneath the stone. If book-matching panels, number and photograph slabs before cutting to preserve the mirrored vein alignment.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Order 10% overage for cuts, waste, and future repairs. Tile & Mosaic Depot specialists are available M–F 8:30AM–5PM PST at 855-797-8453.

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

By purchasing from our store, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:

General Product Representation

There is no guarantee that product samples, images, showroom displays, website photography, or marketing materials will exactly match the material received. All images and samples are representative only and are intended to illustrate the product’s general characteristics and potential appearance.

Natural stone tiles, slabs, mosaics, porcelain tiles, glass tiles, and corresponding trim pieces may vary and are not guaranteed to match exactly in color, shade, texture, or size. Lot-to-lot variation may occur.

We reserve the right to modify product specifications, dimensions, and technical details at any time without prior notice.

NATURAL STONE PRODUCTS

Natural stone is a product of nature and is inherently subject to variation in:

  • Color and shade
  • Veining and movement
  • Grain and pattern
  • Surface texture and finish
  • Pitting and fissures
  • Density and porosity
  • Thickness and sizing

No two natural stone pieces are identical. These characteristics are normal and are not considered defects.

Due to natural porosity, all natural stone products must be properly sealed before installation and may require periodic resealing depending on application and exposure. Regular maintenance is required.

Do not use vinegar, acidic cleaners, ammonia-based cleaners, bleach, or strong alkalis on natural stone surfaces, as they may cause permanent damage.

Natural stone installed in uncovered exterior environments may experience changes in color, finish, or surface appearance due to UV exposure, moisture, freeze-thaw cycles, and environmental conditions.

All natural stone products are sold as-is and without warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

PORCELAIN PRODUCTS

Porcelain tiles are manufactured products and may exhibit variations in shade (dye lot), pattern, texture, caliber (size), thickness, and surface finish due to normal production tolerances and firing processes. These variations are inherent to porcelain manufacturing and are not considered defects.

Printed, glazed, textured, or patterned porcelain tiles may display intentional variation between pieces to replicate natural materials. Differences between production runs may occur.

It is the customer’s responsibility to verify shade consistency, caliber, and suitability for the intended application before installation.

INSPECTION & INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

All materials must be inspected immediately upon delivery and before installation.

The installer must:

  • Inspect all tiles for visible defects or discrepancies
  • Verify correct product, size, and finish.
  • Blend material from multiple cartons.s
  • Dry-lay tile when necessary to confirm acceptable appearance
  • The customer is solely responsible for approving all materials before installation.

Installation constitutes full and final acceptance of the material.

Once installed, absolutely no claims, discounts, returns, refunds, or labor reimbursements will be accepted for any reason, including but not limited to shade variation, size variation, texture differences, or dissatisfaction with appearance.

The customer is responsible for ensuring proper installation methods consistent with industry standards, TCNA guidelines, and manufacturer recommendations.

Aerosol adhesives, catalyst-based adhesives, or improper setting materials should not be used for natural stone installations, as they may cause staining or discoloration.

We are not responsible for:

  • Labor costs
  • Removal costs
  • Installation errors
  • Substrate failure
  • Improper sealing
  • Water intrusion
  • Environmental exposure
  • Maintenance-related damage

Our liability, if any, is strictly limited to the replacement of unused defective material or refund of the original purchase price of the material only.
