Sealing: Bianco Congelato marble should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer before installation and re-sealed every 12 months in dry areas, or every 6 months in wet areas such as showers. The leathered finish is slightly more porous than a polished surface, making consistent sealing especially important to prevent staining on this pale stone.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or ammonia, as acids will etch and discolor the marble. The leathered finish can trap soap residue in its texture; rinse thoroughly after cleaning to prevent buildup.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to avoid ghosting through the light-colored stone. Align mesh sheets carefully during installation to maintain uniform joint lines across the field. Use non-sanded grout for joints under 1/8 inch, and select a grout color in light grey or white to complement the stone's cool palette. Back-butter each sheet lightly to ensure full adhesion, particularly on vertical surfaces.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
