Sealing: Botticino marble should be sealed with a penetrating, pH-neutral stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 12 months in dry areas, or every 6 months in wet areas such as shower walls. As a light-colored, porous stone, consistent sealing is essential to protect against staining.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner or plain warm water only — never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch or dull the polished surface. Wipe spills promptly, as the polished finish, while beautiful, is more susceptible to etching from acidic substances than a honed finish.

Installation: Use white thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through on this light-colored stone. Back-butter each piece fully before setting to ensure complete adhesion given the narrow format. Use non-sanded grout for tight joints and align each liner carefully with a level for a clean, professional finish.

Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
