Sealing: Calacatta Oliva marble should be sealed with a premium penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 6–12 months in wet areas such as showers. The bright white base is particularly susceptible to staining and discoloration if left unsealed, so consistent sealing maintenance is strongly recommended.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth — never use acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based products) or abrasive scrubbers, as these will etch and dull the polished surface. Wipe up spills — especially oils, red wine, and acidic liquids — immediately to prevent staining of the light stone.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any grey adhesive from telegraphing through the translucent white marble. For polished marble moldings, non-sanded grout is recommended at joints to protect the polished edges from scratching. Dry-fit pieces before setting to plan veining continuity, and seal all grout joints in wet areas with a grout sealer after curing.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
