Sealing: Crema Marfil is a relatively porous marble and should be sealed with a penetrating natural stone sealer before grouting and upon completion of installation. In wet areas such as showers, reseal every 6–12 months to prevent moisture ingress and staining. The ivory tones of this stone can absorb oils, soaps, and colored liquids readily, so prompt sealing and maintenance are especially important.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth. Never use vinegar, citrus-based cleaners, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers — acidic substances will etch the polished surface of Crema Marfil, creating dull, matte spots that are difficult to reverse. Wipe spills immediately to prevent staining on the light-colored stone.

Installation: Use bright white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent shadowing through the pale marble chips. Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
