Sealing: Crema Marfil marble should be sealed with a penetrating stone sealer prior to installation and resealed every 12 months in wet areas such as showers and bathroom floors. Its pale ivory tones are more susceptible to staining from oils, soaps, and minerals, so consistent sealing is especially important to preserve its warm color.

Cleaning: Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth or mop. Avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, citrus-based products, and abrasive scrubs, as these will etch the honed surface and dull the finish over time. Wipe spills promptly — particularly coffee, wine, and citrus juices — to prevent staining.

Installation: Use white polymer-modified thinset mortar to prevent any gray bleed-through on the light-colored stone. For the small grout joints typical of mosaic installations, use a non-sanded or unsanded grout. Align mesh-backed sheets carefully during layout to maintain consistent joint spacing, and use a grout float to work grout diagonally across the hexagon faces. Allow thinset to fully cure before grouting.

Important: Inspect all tile before installation. Variations in color, veining, and texture between pieces are natural characteristics of genuine stone — not defects. Color, veining, texture, shade, movement, finish, and sizing vary from piece to piece. Product photos and samples are a general reference and may not match the exact material you receive. These variations are inherent characteristics of natural stone — they are part of its beauty, not defects.

Before You Install

Order roughly 10% extra to allow for cuts, waste, and future repairs.
Blend tiles from multiple boxes as you work to achieve the most natural, balanced appearance.
Dry-lay and inspect the full layout before setting a single tile.
Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, so review everything carefully first.

Sealing & Care
Natural stone should be sealed with a quality penetrating sealer before and after installation, and re-sealed periodically in wet or high-traffic areas. Clean only with a pH-neutral stone cleaner; avoid acidic products, bleach, vinegar, and ammonia, which can permanently etch the surface. Outdoor installations may weather or change tone over time with exposure.
